The Many Benefits Of Natural Herbal Remedies5

You may have heard that you can use natural herbal remedies to cure ailments but have no idea where to start. After all, there are thousands of herbs available; not to mention herbs from the east such as Chinese medicinal herbs and Ayurvedic herbs. It would appear to be an impossible task to know them all. Well, do make a start! Hopefully, in time, you can grow to know about the basic principles of using herbs for health in your daily life.

For a start, the first thing to know is to understand what natural herbal remedies are and how they work. Usually this term refers to the use of medicinal plants to aid in healing and in creating more health and wellness. Although herbal therapy is one of the oldest methods of healing, it is often referred to as alternative or complementary medicine today. The reason is that any form of healing, other than using synthetic drug therapy and surgery, is considered alternative.

Natural herbal remedies possess beneficial chemical properties. For instance, a lot of plants contain saponins, which are well known for helping in the bowel elimination process as well as for helping to break down excess mucus. A lot of plants also contain tannins, which are chemical compounds that can help to slow down bleeding. In addition, many of the compounds derived here are being added to commercially manufactured pharmaceutical drugs today.

The easiest way to derive benefits from natural herbal remedies is to drink them in the form of herbal teas. They are also commonly prepared in a tincture, which is a concentrated liquid extract. There are also plenty of different kinds of herbs that can be eaten fresh. Many herbs can also be used as compresses, creams, poultices, and salves. They are also commonly used in external applications in the form of essential oils. Today, many of these herbs are also becoming available in herbal capsules or tablets.

Most of these medicinal herbs are used to treat specific conditions, boost overall health, or as a complementary treatment. For example, some of them can also be used to reduce the side effects of some prescription drugs. However, you must ensure that herbs used in this manner will not interact negatively with your prescription drugs. Ask your doctor to make sure.

Natural herbal remedies can be very effective for many of the mild symptoms that you experience on a daily basis. There are some powerful herbs that can also be used to treat chronic conditions as well. These chronic conditions include diabetes, arthritis, memory problems and cardiovascular disease. You should still note that just because herbs are natural, it does not necessarily mean that they are safe. Hence, you would need to get to know about the herb that you are using. Do always check back with your health care provider when in doubt or if you intend to use them to treat a specific ailment that you are having.

Diabetes Treatment – a Natural Alternative10

Diabetes seems to be spreading like wildfire in the world today. And the numbers seem to grow right along with the rate of obesity. This appears to indicate that many cases of Diabetes are due to an unhealthy diet and are totally preventable. And in most cases, reversible, simply by changing to a healthier diet and lifestyle.

Diabetes is defined as a chronic disease marked by high levels of sugar in the blood. There are three major types of Diabetes:

* Type 1 Diabetes - This type of Diabetes is usually diagnosed in childhood. Many patients are diagnosed when they are older than age 20. In Type 1, the body makes little or no insulin, and daily injections of insulin are needed. The exact cause is unknown. Genetics, viruses, and autoimmune problems may possibly play a role.

* Type 2 Diabetes - This type of Diabetes is much more common than Type 1. It usually occurs in adulthood. In Type 2, the pancreas does not make enough insulin to keep blood glucose levels normal, often because the body does not respond well to insulin. Type 2 Diabetes is becoming more common due to the increasing rate of obesity and lack of exercise.

* Gestational Diabetes - This type of Diabetes indicates high blood glucose that develops at any time during pregnancy in women who do not have Diabetes.

People with Type 2 Diabetes are most likely to respond well to natural alternative Diabetes treatments which include regular exercise, a reduction in the consumption of processed foods, and a return to a diet rich in fresh vegetables.

Are "Fractionated" Oils and "Partially Fractionated" Oils GOOD or BAD?1

I need a straight answer, not a run around on HOW these oils are made. That is all that’s talked about online and is not important WHAT SO EVER. What EXACTLY do these oils called "Fractionated" do to the body once ingested. "Hydrogenated/Partially Hydrogenated" oils are EXTREMELY harmful and cause Diabetes, "Fractionated" oils are NEW. If there’s not one thing, there’s a new thing and there are MANY other forms of the SAME words meaning the SAME thing just spelled slightly different. SO…IS "Fractionated" oil GOOD or DANGEROUS for human health? Please, ONLY natural health experts who believe in natural remedies apply your answer, no doctors.

From what I’ve seen and read Fractionated oils can contain higher quantities of saturated fats (which is bad for you). But I think it depends on the fractionating process itself and the type of oil that you are talking about. It’s really hard to find solid information on this topic. I say if you can’t find solid, positive information on something avoid it!

Natural Ways to Prevent Diabetes10

Diabetes(http://www.mitamins.com/disease/Diabetes.html) is a medical disorder which is characterized by hyperglycemia or high blood sugar levels. This is usually due to problems with the secretion of insulin, the hormone responsible for controlling blood sugar levels within the body. The two main forms of the condition – Type 1 diabetes and Type 2 diabetes. In both cases diet is a key factor in the treatment of diabetes.

Type 1 diabetes is usually diagnosed very early on in life and is caused by a genetic fault which affects the body’s ability to secret insulin. Most people with Type 1 diabetes have to take daily insulin injections. Diet is very important for these people as a means of controlling their diabetes however dietary change cannot prevent Type 1 Diabetes from occurring.

The number of cases of Type 2 Diabetes has increased drastically in recent years. It is often referred to as Adult Onset Diabetes and occurs later in life. It is strongly associated with increased body mass and obesity, and the risk of developing this disease can be greatly reduced through dietary monitoring, weight reduction and exercise.

Uncontrolled or untreated diabetes has many risks, which can be life threatening. Such complications include cardiovascular disease(http://www.mitamins.com/disease/Cardiovascular-Disease.html), chronic renal failure, and retinal and nerve damage. Therefore it is clear that seeking treatment of diabetes, in addition to general advice on living with the condition is very important. Proper diet, medication and lifestyle changes can keep diabetes under control.

The risks of developing Type 2 Diabetes can be greatly reduced with a few easy-to-make lifestyle changes. It has been proved that wrong eating habits, obesity, lack of exercise, bad habits like smoking(http://www.mitamins.com/disease/Smoking.html) and stress all contribute to causing Type 2 diabetes. The Harvard Medical School associate, the Joslin Diabetes Center has noted that at least 10 million Americans who are at high risk for Type 2 diabetes can lower their chances of getting the disease with diet and exercise. This has been proved over again in subsequent studies.

Eating sugar and refined carbohydrates does not cause diabetes, however a high intake of these foods may contribute significantly towards weight gain – which is responsible for diabetes. Achieving and maintaining an ideal body weight as an important step in the prevention and treatment of diabetes.

A reduction in both simple sugars and the intake of simple carbohydrates is ultimately beneficial in the treatment of diabetes. This means reducing white bread, simple cereals, juices and high-sugar beverages. Complex carbohydrates like whole grain pasta, breads, pulses and basmati rice should be eaten in preference – portion size is still important though.

Carbohydrates should be spread through the day, with a small to moderate portion at each meal. Proteins assist in building muscle tone and repairing cells; however some protein-containing foods are high in fat such as meat. Therefore keep protein portions to around the size of your fist, and take 1 portion with each meal. Choose lean options such as fish, eggs, tofu and lean meat.

An overall reduction in fat intake is important in both the prevention and treatment of diabetes. Identify the harmful and good fats in your diet and make the appropriate changes. Trans fats, found in many processed foods, are the most harmful. Saturated animal fat found in meat and dairy also contributes to boosting your cholesterol. Monounsaturated fats such as olive, peanut and canola oils have protective effects – so use these as your oil of choice. Avocadoes and nuts also contain monounsaturated fats. Drinking plenty of water is essential to wash away the toxins from the body.

A good fruit and vegetable intake is crucial in the treatment of diabetes. These items contain an array of anti oxidant vitamins as well as different types of fibers that help to stabilize blood sugars. Of course fruit contains some natural sugar (fructose) so if you have been diagnosed with diabetes you need to ensure you spread it throughout the day and stick to around 3 portions.

Exercise is crucial in preventing diabetes – both from the point of view of regulating weight and in preventing insulin resistance (which can occur prior to the development of diabetes). Jogging, swimming, tennis or joining a gym are all recommended but failing that just try to ensure you walk as much as possible each day.

There are some natural remedies available for the treatment of diabetes like fenugreek seeds, onion and garlic, margosa or neem extracts (azadirachta indica – a subtropical tree) and bitter melon or bitter gourd extracts. Such remedies have no proven efficacy however and should not replace prescribed medication for diabetes control.

Natural Treatment Tips for Diabetes0

Diabetes mellitus or diabetes is a serious disorder and is caused by reduced levels of insulin in the body. Insulin is required by the body for energizing the cells, maintaining low glucose levels, regulating the metabolism of glucose and increasing the transport of amino acid into the cells. It also stimulates growth, cell replication and aids in DNA synthesis.  But right in the case of diabetic individuals mainly the body is either unable to produce sufficient quantity of insulin or is unable to utilize it appropriately for cell energy.

Natural remedies for treating diabetes:

There are various natural treatments available for dealing with diabetes. Some of the most popular home-made remedies are:

Cinnamon is a well known spice and has been used as a natural remedy for treating diabetes since thousands of years. The cinnamon bark is known to stimulate the effect of insulin and helps combat diabetes mellitus.

Hydroxychalcone is mainly a chemical compound that is entirely found in cinnamon and greatly  lowers the level of blood glucose in the body. Diabetic individuals can include cinnamon in their daily diet to avail its benefits.

Bitter melon is also widely recommended to treat diabetes mellitus. Remove the seeds of this vegetable and take out its juice. Drink this twice a day to help lower the level of blood glucose.

Fish berry or Anamirta cocculus should be crushed and soaked in water for 1 day. The juice of this fruit should be taken the first thing in the morning.
Add ½ tsp of ground bay leaf and ½ tsp of turmeric to 1 tbsp on Aloe Vera gel. Take this twice a day before lunch and dinner to treat diabetes.
Take 6-7 almonds and sock them in water overnight. Eat them in the morning before breakfast.

need grammar.Spelling check.With my short story?1

*You can include anything. I really want to get an A.
-I am bad at writing but I REALLy tried. Thank you
_______________________________________________________________________________

I had to get a newspaper article and make a story of it:

She had golden locks that resemble a cascade of waters. Her name was Neumann and she was in the 9th grade. Active as can be she joined the cross country team and found herself excelling. However, Neumann started noticing that she lost 10 pounds and became extremely irritable. She did not want to go to Mother of our Redeemers Catholic church and this was very unusual since Neumann used to love attending church and she was in the church chorus as well as the church youth group but her decrease passion towards church made her parents fret. Neumann was a petite girl who wandered from place to place with a careless motion, she had a boyfriend named Jacob who loved her dearly. Neumann was feeling very sick that week and after going to the doctor with her boyfriend Jacob she confirmed she was pregnant. Her parents did not know what was going on and she was too scared to tell them so she decided to keep it a secret until she had the strength and courage to tell them. Days passed and her symptoms increased to the point that her parents began to notice something was wrong and her parents asked her if she wanted to go to the doctor “No I am fine it will pass”, she said. Her biggest fear was going to the doctor with her parents and having the doctor say she was pregnant. Two days later as she was sprinting outside she felt so sick she collapsed. Her coach immediately called her parents and Neumann was rushed to the doctors. “Your daughter had a Diabetic Ketoacidosis”, the doctor said. “There is nothing our god can’t cure”, said the mother. The doctor prescribed some medication but her father politely refused he said there god will heal her by natural remedy. From that day on her parents began taking her to church while her condition became worse. She had diabetes and she knew she needed medicine. “Mom I need medicine. I can’t depend on this church. This is ridiculous I’m going to die!”, said Neumann. Her mother ignored her as she rubbed holy water all over her head. Two months later Neumann died. Jacob took it upon himself to convict Neumann’s parents of reckless homicide for using prayer rather than medical care for their dying daughter and her unborn child.

*all corrections and notes/comments are in parentheses.

She had golden locks that resemble(d) a cascade of waters. Her name was Neumann and she was in the 9th grade. (Neumann was a petite girl who wandered from place to place with a careless motion,(and) had a boyfriend named Jacob who loved her dearly.) Active as can be, she joined the cross country team and found herself excelling (at what?). However, Neumann (began to notice) that she (had) lost 10 pounds and (was also) extremely irritable. She did not want to go to Mother of our Redeemers Catholic (C)hurch, (which) was very unusual since Neumann used to love attending church(.) (S)he was in the church chorus as well as the church youth group but her decreas(ing) (interest) towards church made her parents fret. Neumann was feeling very sick that week and after going to the doctor with her boyfriend Jacob (it was) confirmed she was pregnant. Her parents did not know what was going on and she was too scared to tell them so she decided to keep it a secret until she had the strength and courage to tell them. Days passed and her symptoms increased to the point that her parents began to notice something was wrong and her parents asked her if she wanted to go to the doctor “No I(’m) fine it(’ll) pass”, she said. Her biggest fear was going to the doctor with her parents and having the doctor (tell them) she was pregnant. The doctor prescribed some medication but her father politely refused(, saying, " our god will heal her by natural remedy.") From that day on her parents began taking her to church while her condition became worse. She had diabetes and she knew she needed medicine. “Mom, I need medicine. I can’t depend on this church. This is ridiculous, I’m going to die!”, said Neumann. Her mother ignored her as she rubbed holy water all over her head. Two months later Neumann died. Jacob took it upon himself to convict Neumann’s parents of reckless homicide for using prayer rather than medical care for their (deceased) daughter and her unborn child.

*For your story, I modified the dialogue because she sounded too grammatically correct, and also you need to stick with past tense, or stick with present tense. When you say it was "confirmed she was pregnant", you have to indicate somewhere before that part that she suspected she was pregnant because you used the word confirmed. Otherwise, just say "the doctor told her she was pregnant". You don’t need to be that specific about the church, it’s kind of irrelevant. Also, somewhere in there I would add that her parents found out she was pregnant, either by Jacob telling them when he convicted the parents, or she gave in and told them. For the last sentence, it sounds a bit awkward by using "dying daughter and her unborn child", since she is dead now, but wasn’t dead when they used prayer rather than medical care. Perhaps you should rephrase it? Either way, you have a very complex story squeezed into a short story, which was very interesting!

HOW MUCH Chamomile tea will help induce labor?4

I read that chamomile tea (in large amounts) is not good to drink during pregnancy, until the end, because it can cause contractions. I am TRYING to cause contractions, and i have read several peoples stories saying it really helps you go into labor. I just need to know HOW MUCH do i drink everyday?

I’m 37 weeks and 3 days, I want to have a natural labor but my doctor has scheduled me for a c section at 40 weeks because I have gestational diabetes and that is what my health care providers policy is. I had an ultrasound yesterday and my baby is average size and measuring at 37 weeks, so i’m NOT going to have a BIG baby, and thats the only reason they make women have the c section. doesnt really make sense in every case.

Please don’t tell me that it doesn’t work or about other remedies, I know them ALL, and I am just trying to avaoid a c sections. ONLY ANSWER IF YOU KNOW HOW MUCH I SHOULD BE DRINKING PLEASE!!
I DONT WANT SMART ASS REPLIES>>>THANKS!

Chamomile tea is not safe to drink during pregnancy for a reason and that doesn’t change just cause you want to cause contractions. I would say none is safe to drink. Try using a different method, or contact your doctor and see what they recomend for you to do.

Four Natural Treatments for Diabetes0

There is something to be said for a diabetes natural treatment. Why is a natural treatment so important? My concern is about how drugs interact with the body and other drugs in the body. And while taking some herb or natural remedy can have a negative interaction just like a medication, I have not heard of any.

With medicines I cannot make that same claim. For me and maybe you as well natural remedies seem safer. As part of my diabetes treatment I want something that is natural.

Eating consciously and exercising are two strong suits that make up a solid natural diabetes treatment.

There are also some herbs that are worth their weight in sugar, I mean gold, that can address your blood sugar and create a safer blood sugar level for you.

Here are a few herbs that are good natural treatments for diabetes.

One of my favorite herbs is Cinnamon because of its many uses and variety of benefits. Cinnamon improves the digestion of fruits, milk, and other dairy products. Cinnamon is also good for bloating, gas, poor digestion, arthritis, anemia, painful menstrual periods, and diarrhea.

A human study published in Diabetes Care looked at 60 people with type 2 diabetes, 30 men and 30 women with an average age of 52. The researchers concluded that “The results of this study… suggest that the inclusion of cinnamon in the diet of people with type 2 diabetes will reduce risk factors associated with diabetes and cardiovascular diseases.”

I like eating Cinnamon in a few different ways. Hmm good on a sliced piece of apple. In apple sauce, on a piece of toast or in some oatmeal. One way I love in taking the herb is in tea. No need to add sugar, just have the tea. This is a delight.

While helping the body maintain weight management chromium is a trace mineral that plays a significant role in helping the body respond to insulin. Also found in Diabetes Care a study confirmed significant progress in insulin sensitivity with chromium present in the body. Interestingly enough studies have revealed that people with diabetes had low levels of chromium. One suggestion is that chromium picolinate is not recommended. Use chromium.

Another effective natural diabetes treatment is North American Ginseng. One of the hallmarks of diagnosing type 2 diabetes is a positive result on the glucose tolerance test, an elevation in blood sugar level two hours after ingesting a dose of glucose.

How does your glucose level respond two hours after eating is the key question? In their analysis, the researchers found that subjects receiving a 3g dose of ginseng had a blood sugar level that was 59.1% less than subjects who had received the placebo treatment. Hey I like this ginseng. What about you?

Magnesium has proven to be an asset to the body for a quite a few reasons. This trace mineral found in nuts, seeds, whole grains and green leafy vegetables and many nutritional supplements is ideal for helping regulate blood sugar levels. Low magnesium levels may deteriorate blood glucose control in type 2 diabetes. This one diabetes natural treatment also helps with blood pressure, nerve and muscle function.

When considering using any of these natural diabetes treatments it would be wise for you to consult with your primary care provider. You want to be safe.

As part of your thorough diabetes treatment using herbs is one of the areas that will help you acquire power over this disease. Having a well rounded program that touches on all the areas of concern about the ailment that includes diet, foods not to eat and exercise will help in your quest for control of this potent illness as well.
