Dr Denise Faustman may hold the cure for type 1 diabetes. I would like to see Oprah give her some needed publicity as she tries to raise the funds to prove it. She is attempting to use a drug used for TB vacinations that has been around for MANY years and is very inexpensive. Because of this she can’t get big pharm backing as there isn’t much money to be made. For more info on her funding struggles check out:

Diabetes runs in my family and im afraid i might get it soon
im only a teenager but i HAD a pretty bad sweet tooth
i went to take a blood test once and my blood was really dark red
so i became concerned, is there a way to lower chances of getting diabetes or lowering blood sugar?
Sugar does not directly cause diabetes. Poor health as a result of a lousy, excessive refined carbohydrate diet and lack of daily exercise are the primary causes of type two diabetes. If you are worried, the easiest way to prevent it, is to learn all you can about it. Then take the necessary steps to prevent it. It’s really simple… eat the foods your body was meant to eat (natural foods), and get some moderate daily exercise. Your weight will stabilize to its natural amount and you’ll feel great knowing that you’re doing all you can to stay healthy.
how close are we to finding a cure and how long would you estimate? if so, what types of treatments are there that might be available? does legalization of stems cell research have an effect? sorry for too many questions on a cure, but just curious on its progress. i hope it’s soon, for the sake of someone close to me.
What the heck is "Murse Dan" talking about? Insulin uptake and resistance occurs at the tissue level, not in the blood or the pancreas.
If this guy is in the health field, I’m scared.
Anyway, the best hope for curing T2 diabetes is prevention, both at the genetic level and the lifestyle level.
If someone out there knows the answer. I too would like to know.
there is no cure for Diabetes…yet
Plenty of things help improve type two diabetes. Number one, exercise. Number two, proper diet. Number three, weight management. For more on this, see the following: http://www.drfuhrman.com/

By following the above, I’ve managed to stop all medication after five years. I feel great, too.
I know there isn’t a real cure and it is controlled by tablets ,I need to know if anyone knows of any other natural relief, please pour your answers.
No. There isn’t one.
Keeping healthy in other ways, good sugar control, good blood pressure control, low fat diet, not smoking, BMI within average range (not overweight) will all help to stop or minimise the complications of diabetes
